Sports Day 2025

St. Kilian’s Junior School held our annual Sports Day on Friday 13th June. The children were actively involved in lots of sports and a great day was had by all.

A huge thank you to our coaches – Seán Kelly from St. Kevin’s Kilian’s G.A.A. Club who taught football skills, Dymphna Flood from Good Counsel Liffey Gaels G.A.A. and Camogie Club, along with her assistant Emily who taught hurling and camogie skills, Aoife Carney Duignan from Got2Dance Stage School who taught modern dance, Mitchell Thompson from Cricket Leinster who taught cricket skills, Dean and Adam from Éanna Basketball who taught basketball skills, Mr. Hector Alcazar who taught soccer skills, Ms. Mc Nally who taught G.A.A. skills, Paul Owens, our caretaker, who organised the races with help from Ms. Donegan and Max Bradley, Cathal O’Hara and Elaine Boyd from the 158th Castleview Scouts who taught scout games, Ms. O’Rourke and Bobby Nicholson Reilly who organised the athletic activities, and Amy Guy and Lilly Nicholson Reilly who organised the Musical Chairs.

A huge thank you to all the teachers and Special Needs Assistants in St. Kilian’s Junior School whose commitment and dedication ensure the success of our Sports Day every year. Thank you to Ms. Lehane who coordinated the events of the day. Well done everyone!
