Space Week: September 30th – October 4th
St. Kilian’s Junior School registered a week long space event on Spaceweek.ie for Spaceweek. This year our senior infant classes took part. We planned a week of activities for the senior infants where they learned about the solar system and space. We applied for unique space images for our school which were taken using a powerful telescope at the Blackrock Observatory. The photos shows Jupiter in the night sky. All our senior infants made rockets and the winner from each class received prizes and space certificates.
