We celebrated Maths week from 12 to 20th October, with lots of practical maths activities each day. The boys and girls had great fun doing maths outdoors and used chalk to write their numbers, practice sums and draw wonderful creations from 2D shapes. Our annual bake sale took place on Wednesday focusing on the themes of money, weight and capacity. The children loved baking and eating the sweet treats! Thank you for your wonderful support for this event. Tuesday was maths art day and lots of fun art activities focusing on shape and number took place. The children brought in board games on Thursday and had great fun sharing their games and teaching their friends. On Friday, we finished off the week with our outdoors maths trail focusing on finding maths in the environment.
