Friday 21st October. Maths Trail Day – all classes followed a fun maths trail around the school grounds, looking for maths all around them.
The children were also engaged in many fun activities to help their mental maths, and they were encouraged through ‘maths eyes’ lessons to look out for maths, number, shapes, data, pattern etc. in the environment. They participated in maths rhymes, stories, songs and maths computer games. They had a lot of fun every morning with various estimation challenges.
