Engineering Week took place in January. The children worked on different engineering projects with their class. Two engineers visited our school to talk to second class. They worked with them to design cars and discussed the work of engineers with all the children. The classes had great fun designing and making things like boats that float, rafts, mazes, balloon towers, board games, parachutes and catapults. Ms. Moore and Ms. Doyle’s class made a miniature model of Kingswood. Congratulations to Ms. Bradley Room 7 for the overall winner in the infant category and to Ms. Raymond Room 9 for the overall winner in the 1st/2nd class category. It was such an enjoyable day and worthwhile experience for everyone. A special thank you to Tom, Luke and all the staff who worked together to make this such a memorable day!
