All pupils were busy with their engineering work during engineering week from 5th to 11th March 2022. Our visiting engineer Tom Murray worked with our second classes. He gave the boys and girls a very informative talk about the work of an engineer. He provided each class with engineering kits and the children had great fun building circuits for their St. Patrick’s Day cards.
We ran a class based engineering competition during the week and the children had great fun building and testing bridges, marble runs, famous buildings and lots of wonderful lego constructions. Congratulations to room 15, Ms. Black’s class who won the competition with their fantastic hot air balloons. Many thanks to Tom Murray once again for all his help during the week. See photos below
