St. Kilian's Junior School was awarded The Plaque of Excellence at the Stem Awards (science, technology, engineering and maths) in 2015, 2016,2017,2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 and again in 2024.

St Kilian's JNS was awarded first prize in the Walk in My Shoes, Mission Possible Mental Health Competition in April 2018. The all-Ireland award celebrated the work that is being done with students and the wider Kingswood Community in the area of positive mental health.
